In 2010 a few friends here in the Utah music scene started working on an idea for a holiday themed rock show. We assembled even more friends and, in a quaint little venue called One Mind Studios, the first Christmas Jam was held.
It was meant to be a one-time thing. It was meant to be "just for fun". It became so much more. Friends became family. One show became many. One year became ten. A concert became a mission. A concept became a Non-Profit Corporation.
As we gathered together for our final Christmas Jam in 2019, we wanted you all to know how thankful we are to have spent this time with you. The talent, time, and effort of our cast and crew, in combination with the phenomenal support of our fans, have made each and every show worth living "Christmas" 8 months out of the year.
We also want to thank the families of our amazing cast members for putting up with the absence of your loved ones each holiday season as we put the show together.
Finally, to our friends and fans that have supported our efforts over the years. We want to express our heartfelt gratitude for allowing us to entertain you while raising thousands of dollars for The Road Home.
This chapter of Christmas Jam has come to a close. The mission and commitment of Christmas Jam of Utah goes on. The years 2020 and 2021 have presented us all with challenges that have tested our limits of compassion, empathy, and unity. The spirit of Christmas Jam has always been one of diverse talent and personalities coming together with a common goal to serve those less fortunate in our community. That spirit also carries on.
We look forward to seeing you all again in 2022. Stay tuned... 🤘
